What is personal information?

Personal information is information and assessments that can be linked to an individual. This can be, for example, name, place of residence, telephone number and email address. Behavior patterns can also be regarded as personal information.

The processing of personal data means any use of personal data, such as the collection, registration, assembly, storage and disclosure, or a combination of such uses.

The processing of personal data is subject to the Act on processing of personal data.

What types of personal information are processed and why?

Purchases made on Inatur's websites

We process personal information on those who purchase through our websites in accordance with contractual obligations we have with our partners and agents. We process the information necessary to fill our obligations to the end customer and to our sales network.

When purchasing, we process personal information via your profile, your shopping cart, and your receipt.

The process of collection is referenced in the Personal Data Act §1, cf. Eus privacy policy article 6.1, letter b) agreement.

The collection process will be specified for each purchase case in the list below.

The consequence of undisclosed personal data is that the contractual basis will lapse, meaning that purchases and applications for products will no longer be possible.

Purchase of hunting and fishing licenses

The purpose of processing information is to meet the sellers need for customer contact information, and for any public requirements for obtaining the necessary information about a specific customer. In addition, we wish to provide the best user experience possible by using pre-registered personal information during the purchase process.

You may choose to buy without having a profile, however you must manually enter your name, email, mobile number, postal code and country.

When purchasing hunting licenses personal information is necessary to process the hunting license number and user date of birth for the verification of paid hunting fees for the current hunting year within the Hunting Register.

The process of collection is referenced in the Personal Data Act §1, cf. Eus privacy policy article 6.1, letter c) legal obligation.

If no personal information including date of birth or hunting numbers are provided then hunting licenses will not be available for purchase.

Housing Rentals

The process of collection is formulated to meet the sellers' need for obtaining the necessary information about you as a customer in order to enter into an agreement on a lease. In addition to this, we wish to provide the best user experience possible by using pre-registered personal information in the purchasing process.

You may choose to book without having a profile, however you must then enter your name, email, mobile number, postal code and country.

Payment of tolls and parking fees via SMS

The process of collection is set in place to safeguard the landowner's right to require tolls or payment for access and parking. We process the vehicles registration number stated by the user, in addition to the mobile telephone number.

Application for hunting and fishing

The purpose of processing information is to meet the sellers' need for personal information when entering into an agreement on hunting/fishing following an application process. In addition, we must meet any public requirements for obtaining necessary information about you as an applicant. We also wish to provide the best possible user experience by simplifying the application process, and do so through using pre-registered personal information from your profile. An application requires a name, email, mobile number, postal code, city and municipality.

It is required that we collect the hunters' identification number and date of birth in order to verify the hunter against the hunting register when applying for a hunting license.

Hunting and fishing groups may, if so desired, be registered and pulled from previous applications.

When applying for hunting licenses, additional personal information beyond what is listed above may be requested based on the specific needs of the individual seller.

Contact for hunting

The purpose of processing information is to meet the seller's need for personal information in order to enter into a contract with hunters.

In addition, we must meet any public requirements for entering into a hunting contract.

A contract requires name, email, mobile number, municipality, hunter number and date of birth.

Personal information is generally obtained from submitted hunting applications.

Additionally, the seller may choose to process information about the names of the dog handlers for the certified search dog in the contract.

The seller has access to review and change personal information in a contract throughout the contract period, with the requirement of a new signature from the hunting leader.

Delivery of catch reports

The purpose of collection is to safeguard the landowners right and duty to file reports on catches.

Personal information such as name and contact information is required in addition to catch data.

Catchreports may be published on apps available on App Store and Google Play.

In cases where catch data may be published, you will have the opportunity of remaining anonymous. We do not publish pictures if you want to report anonymously.

When uploading images without stating that you wish to remain anonymous, you give Inatur Norge AS the right to use the image for display in our solutions.

We reserve the right to delete images in cases where we find them incompatible with the purpose of reporting catch.

This collection process is Inatur Norway AS's fulfillment of the contractual obligation to the seller to provide information about hunting and fishing reports. Information is handled in accordance with the Personal Data Act §1, cf. Article 6.1, letter b) of the EU privacy regulation agreement.

The consequence of not providing personal data is that the user may be prevented from purchasing hunting and fishing licenses at a later date.

Payment

The purpose of information collection is to obtain payment information and enable payments, and to satisfy the requirements for traceability of the payer in accordance with the Accounting Act.

When paying with a credit card you will be asked to provide the required payment information in relation to the form of payment you choose.

Inatur Norge As uses Nets to process payment and does not store any information related to payment in its own systems.

User Registration

The purpose of the registration process is to offer a better user experience on our website, to give users access to registered information and documents, and to ensure user identification.

When registering a user you will be asked to enter an email address and password. You will also need to enter your name, mobile number, zip code, city and country.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to register your address, date of birth and hunter identification number. This information is optional and can be removed from your profile at any time.

Inatur reserves the right to retain personal information relating to application processes on inatur.no in accordance with the obligations we have towards the recipient of the application.

In addition, you can specify your interests to receive relevant information about specific product groups, offers, etc. from us.

By entering your interests on your profile, you agree that Inatur Norge AS may send you information based on your interests. You may at any time withdraw consent to be sent information by removing the specific interest on your profile, or unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Registration of sellers and contact persons

This process refers to the collecting of necessary information to fulfill our contractual agreements to the sellers.

As a seller, we ask that you register the name of your seller profile. You must also sign our agreement for the use of the website electronically upon registration.

The agreement only comes into effect when publishing a sales page. Seller profiles must then be supplemented with necessary information for the payment of settlement, as well as contact information.

If you want to rent out your cabin or other accommodation, you must also register your home address and your social security number or D-number. This according to the regulation Skatteforvaltningslovens § 7-5, section eight and nine.

The seller can also choose to enter the name and contact information of a contact person.

Once the contractual relationship is established, the sellers' personal information will also be registered in our CRM system HubSpot.

Information submitted to HubSpot will be stored on their servers in the USA, and will be subject to HubSpot's privacy policy.

The basis of this policy can be referred to in the Personal Data Act §1, cf. Article 6.1 of the EU privacy regulation, letter b), agreement.

The consequence of undisclosed personal data is that an agreement on sale via the website will not be possible.

Job Applicants

The purpose of this policy is to process the necessary information in order to evaluate your application.

Applications that lead to employment will be stored in our staff archive.

Applications that are rejected will be deleted after processing.

The basis of this policy can be referred to in the Personal Data Act §1, cf. Article 6.1, letter b) of the EU Privacy Regulation, agreement.

Failure to disclose personal data will result in an application that cannot be processed.

Visitors to our website

When you use our website we record information about which pages you visit and how you use them. In addition, we record information pertaining to the hardware and software you use, and your IP address. We do this for statistics, and to provide our customers with the best possible service.

The basis of this policy can be referred to in § 1 of the Personal Data Act, cf. Article 6.1, letter a), of the EU privacy regulation, consent

We also register your IP address in our logs, for the ability of tracking. The logs will be deleted after 90 days.

For troubleshooting and analysis of user behavior, name, username (email), and seller name are stored in Sentry, our system for logging error messages.

General customer inquiries

Inquiries via e-mail, telephone and support system, will be processed on an ongoing basis, and stored in our support system, HubSpot. At the conclusion of the interaction, please refer to the relevant items listed under point 4.

When contacting support through our support system, your name, email, and the pages you have visited on the customer center are stored.

Information submitted to HubSpot will be stored on their servers in the USA, and will be subject to HubSpot's privacy policy.

Sharing your information

Information about your use of our services may be disclosed to other companies for the same purpose for which they were collected. Whenever possible, the information will be provided in an anonymous form, but for some purposes it may be necessary that the recipient receives information that allows them to identify you as a user of Inatur.no.

An example of this would be the export of applications and the allocation of hunting and fishing to the sellers own systems.

Inatur will not share, sell, or otherwise disclose any personal information about you other than as disclosed in this Privacy Statement without first obtaining your consent.

We accept that personal data may be shared with the consent of legal obligation and / or statutory disclosure obligation.

Where is your personal data stored?

Personal data processed by Inatur Norge AS is mainly stored on servers in Europe.

Exceptions:

Sellers information, and customer data provided by user in support issues treated on HubSpot will be stored on their servers in the USA (Ref. p. 4.6 and 4.9)

The received information is subject to HubSpot's privacy policy.

Our web server logs contain visitors' IP addresses and are stored for 90 days on servers in the United States.

Troubleshooting and user behavior mapping via Sentry is also stored in the United States.

When our suppliers transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA, we make sure that the personal data in question is appropriately protected and as required by the European Commissions standard contractual clauses/SCC.

How long will your personal information be stored?

Your personal information is stored until you yourself require it to be removed, and for the minimum amount of time required in accordance with the applicable provisions of the storage of sales documents in accordance with the Accounting Act.

Exceptions:

Web server and application logs may contain traces of personal data and are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Signed hunting contracts are automatically deleted 2 years after the contract period expires.

Unsigned hunting contracts are automatically deleted after 6 months.

In addition, there may be a legitimate interest in storing personal information over time.

Social Media

Inatur Norge AS has its own profiles on e.g. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where visits, comments, and likes will be stored.

Your use of such features is subject to the privacy policy of the company providing them.

Analysis and Marketing

Inatur uses Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager for analytical purposes. Cookies are used to record the user's IP address and track user patterns on the website.

Information collected from Google Analytics is stored on their servers in the United States and is subject to Google's privacy policy.

The basis of handling this information can be referred to in, cf. section 1 of the Personal Data Act, cf. the EU privacy regulation Article 6.1, letter f) legitimate interest.

Inatur Norge AS markets content on the site through third parties such as Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.

Those sites uses third part cookies.

This is done so that we, for example, can display relevant ads that are of interest to our users.

This only happens if you have consented to the use of cookies.

You can withdraw your consent at any time and find an overview of the cookies we use in our cookie declaration.

Your Rights

Transparency: When logged in, you have access to your personal information such as your purchase history, applications, and your catch reports.

Returning Consent: You may at any time withdraw consent to receive market related information from us, in accordance to your interests on your profile, or in regards to receiving our newsletter.

Deletion or Correction: Further, we will delete your personal information if you ask us to, unless we have a legal basis or a statutory obligation as grounds to keep your personal information. For example, the Accounting Act requires us to keep detailed purchase history for five years. You also have the right to correct incorrect information.

Data Portability: You have the right to request that the personal information we have recorded on you be provide in a structured, commonly used, machine readable format for transmission to another Processor.

Right of Limitation: Under certain circumstances you may demand that processing must be limited.

Right of appeal: You may send a complaint to us or to the Data Inspectorate at any time if you disagree with the way we process your personal information.
